The official synopsis for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has been confirmed as the official start to Phase Five of the MCU.

In the film, Scott Lang (Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Lilly) will embark on an exploration of the Quantum Realm, “interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond what they thought was possible.”

Among them will be the MCU’s first interaction with Kang The Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), which will have major repercussions across the Marvel universe in upcoming movies and series, not least of which is the Avengers showdown in 2025’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Other than that, in classic Marvel fashion, there’s not much else known about what to expect, but it’s conceivable that there are some upheavals ahead, and they’re almost certainly tied to shows and movies in the universe.
