The Kardashian clan continues to grow and grow. With the arrival of Kylie’s son Wolf with Travis Scott on February 2, 2022, and Khloé’s unnamed son with Tristan Thompson in August, the world is guaranteed to Kardashians — or any of their future reality shows — will never run out of material.
Here’s our handy list of what each baby is called and why.
Thompson boy
Parents: Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson
Born: August 2022
Khloé welcomed her son via surrogate in August, but has yet to reveal his name. However, she took a peek at the bundle of joy she welcomed with her ex. (The baby was reportedly conceived before the recent Thompson fraud scandal.)
Webster’s wolf
Parents: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
Born: February 2, 2022
The youngest sister Kardashian-Jenner announced a few days after the birth of her son that her name was Wolf, a name that has become popular among celebrities. Rapper Eve chose it for her newborn son later that month. Zooey Deschanel and Lauren Conrad, as well as Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, chose it as a middle name.
But Jenner later said that the parents changed it because “they just didn’t really feel like it was him.” In January 2023, as the baby was nearing her first birthday, Jenner said her parents opted for Aire, which she confirmed on social media as pronounced “air”. A source told former family network E! that the name means “lion of God.”
West Psalm
Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Born: May 9, 2019
“The inspiration was the biblical Book of Psalms,” confessed Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner ET right after his birth. “I think it’s a great way to celebrate how they feel. And he’s such a blessing, so he’s perfect.”
The real Thompson
Parents: Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson
Born: April 12, 2018
Khloé’s mom explained on Twitter that the nickname has deep family roots as it was shared by both her grandfather and her father.
Stormy Webster
Parents: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
Born: February 1, 2018
Although Kardashian-Jenner’s youngest sister didn’t share her reasons for choosing the name Stormi, baby name expert and Baby Name Wizard author Laura Wattenberg told Yahoo Entertainment that it’s a “surprisingly retro name choice.”
Chicago West
Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Born: January 15, 2018
The non-Kardashian Chicago family is deeply rooted in the city it is named after. Kanye grew up there with his late mother Donda by his side and rapped about his “Chi-town”. In fact, we learned how important the city is to the rapper when he met with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss the issue of violence in Chicago in December 2016.
Renee Kardashian’s dream
Parents: Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna
Born: November 10, 2016
Blac Chyna, actually Angela Renée White, gave her offspring a middle name. Rob chose a name for his baby girl We Weekly right after her birth. “Dream was Rob’s favorite name because having a baby has always been his dream,” a source told the magazine.
Holy West
Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Born: December 5, 2015
Kim struggled with her first pregnancy and getting pregnant again. a Kardashian insider said We Weekly a month before the baby was born, Kimye – then still together – was already calling her son “Saint” because he was a child prodigy.
Aston Disick reigns
Parents: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
Born: December 14, 2014
Reign (or Rain) was always meant to be the name of someone in the Kardashian family, as Kourtney said People in April 2015. “I actually had that name on our list with Mason,” she said. “Then with Penelope, I had it on the list, but I spelled RAIN.” Kourtney reconsidered Rain as her third child, who she expected to be a girl, and ended up using Reign when he was a boy.
North West
Parents: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Born: June 15, 2013
Nori, as North is called, would have been called differently if not for musician Pharrell i Fashion editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. “I remember we finally decided that North would be our baby girl’s name,” Kim told British GQ at the Mercer Hotel in New York City in October 2014. “It was a rumor in the press and we never really considered it, at all, seriously, but Kanye and I were having lunch here at this table about a year ago and Pharrell approached us and said, “Oh my god, are you really going to name your daughter North? It’s the best name.” I said, “No, we’re not, it’s just a rumor.” Moments later, Anna Wintour approached us and asked the same question. She told us that “North is a brilliant name.” Kanye and I looked at each other and just laughed. I think it’s stuck at this point.
Penelope Scotland Disick
Parents: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
Born: July 8, 2012
Kris Jenner was apparently too proud of her newborn granddaughter to keep quiet about how she ended up with her name. As Jenner said TO ME! News in the month that Penelope was born, Kourtney and Scott just liked it. Kris’ mom was the one who suggested “Scotland.”
Mason Dash Disick
Parents: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
Born: December 14, 2009
Kourtney explained that Mason was an easy choice for her son. “When I first started looking for baby names, Mason was the only one I liked,” she said Lifestyle in January 2010. “It was the only one that stuck in my mind. Just before he was born, I told my aunt that we were thinking of choosing that name. She told me Mason meant the same thing in English as Kardashian meant in Armenian, stonemason. Another aunt told me that my uncle used the name Mason when making dinner reservations because Kardashian was in debt. When I heard that, I thought, “Oh my God, it was meant to be.”
Kourtney dismissed the suggestion that “Dash” was included in a child’s name in honor of her business venture. “Dash is not for my clothing store as some have suggested online,” she said. “That would be stupid. Dash is short for Kardashian and that was my father’s nickname.”
