Watch the new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania trailer
A new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania trailer revealed the arrival of classic Marvel character MODOK in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
MODOK – an acronym for Mental/Mobile/Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing – is a fan-favourite villain, recognizable by his giant hovering head with a mechanized body recently played by Patton Oswalt on his own Hulu animated series.

However, this version of MODOK is portrayed by House of Cards star Corey Stoll returning to the MCU after playing the villain Yellowjacket in 2015’s Ant-Man.
While fans were excited about MODOK’s arrival, they were also worried about what it meant for Scott Lang played by Paul Rudd, aka Ant-Man.
“Was it MODOK? RIP Scott Lang,” one worried fan wrote on Reddit.

“My man Scott is done, if he’s not dead he’ll go into a coma or something,” wrote another.
A new two-minute clip released on Monday shows Rudd’s character battling supervillain Kang The Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors.
The two make an obscure deal after Rudd’s daughter Cassie, played by Kathryn Newton, apparently gets lost in the Quantum Realm.
“You’re an interesting man, Scott Lang. You’re an Avenger, you have a daughter, but you’ve wasted a lot of time, just like me,” says Majors.
“We could help ourselves with that.”
“Who you are?” Rudd replies.
“I’m the man who can give you the only thing you want…time,” Majors replies.
The trailer shows Ant-Man splitting into hundreds of individual copies, some large and small, and screams as he disintegrates amidst explosive CGI battle scenes.
“We had a deal,” says Rudd, before the pair get into a heated fight and Majors asks him, “Did you think you could win?”

“I don’t have to win, we just both have to lose,” says Rudd.
In addition to Rudd, Evangeline Lilly reprises her role as Wasp in the third installment of the superhero series, and Michelle Pfieffer reprises her role as Janet Van Dyne.
Comedian Bill Murray was seen in a previous trailer in an as yet undisclosed villain role.
Kang the Conqueror first appeared in the first season of the Marvel spin-off Loki, described as the conqueror of many worlds during the multiverse war. It will be the centerpiece of the 2025 film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
