As the five villages of Tignes are so spread out, it is important to know the location of your accommodation before booking. Val Claret and Tignes Le Lac, collectively known as Tignes 2100, make the most comfortable bases.
Although the satellites Tignes Les Boisses (also known as Tignes 1800) and Tignes Les Brévières, located lower in the mountains at 1,800 m and 1,550 m respectively, are well connected to the ski area, Tignes 2100 offers a wide range of hotels, restaurants, bars and shops.
For more Tignes inspiration, see our guides to the resort’s best restaurants and après-ski.
