The Council of Fashion Designers, in partnership with IMG’s NYFW: The Shows, has released the official schedule for February’s New York Fashion Week shows.
The American collections will be available from February 10-15. Men’s Day will be celebrated on February 10.
The American collections will begin with the Rodarte show on February 10 at 4 p.m. and end with the Luara show at 8 p.m. on February 15. Thom Browne, CFDA’s new president, will have his runway show on February 22, 14 at 5pm
The CFDA schedule will be presented by Christian Siriano, whose fall show will take place on February 9 at 6:00 p.m., before the official start of NYFW.
“Next month’s New York Fashion Week continues to build on last September’s shows with a strong mix of established brands and emerging talent, and overall diversity and representation. As we watch the next generation of American talent grow, we look forward to continuing this renewed momentum in New York this season and beyond,” said Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, to WWD.
The initial schedule includes 75 designers, including returning brands such as Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Batsheva, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu Collection, Khaite , LaQuan Smith, Luar, Markarian, Michael Kors, Paloma Spain, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Puppets & Puppets, Sergio Hudson, Simkhai, Sukeina, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, Veronica Beard, Who Decides War, and Willy Chavarria.
Among the first people to personally activate the schedule are Heron Preston, Koltson, Cucculelli Shaheen, Ayama Studio, Kallmeyer, Kate Barton, Nayon and Zimo.
NYFW Women’s Shows will be held throughout New York, although Spring Studios will still be the main hub for NYFW: The Shows
Shows and presentations will continue to be presented through Runway360, CFDA’s centralized digital hub and business tool supporting the release of US fashion brands’ collections throughout the year.
On Men’s Day on February 10, A. Potts, All Beneath Heaven, Atelier Cillian, Cross Eyed Moose, Kent Anthony, Nobis and Terry Singh will be shown from 10:30 to noon, and Bulan, Cross Eyed Moose, Dionysus, Jahnkoy, Nicholas Raefski, Nobis and Raleigh Workshop. (Cross Eyed Moose and Nobis appear on both sessions.)
Among the women’s brands presenting by appointment are Cinq a Sept, Libertine and Tara Babylon (all February 10); The Libertine (February 11); Ashlyn and Zimo (February 12); Kate Barton, Tanner Fletcher and Tibi (February 13) and Ayama Studio and Kallmeyer (February 14). Tibi will also have meetings on February 14 and 15.
Companies planning digital releases include Lapointe (February 10); Holy Sintra (February 13); Junny and NIHL (February 14) and Bed on Water (February 15).
Men’s shows will be held at Daylight Studios, 450 West 31st Street, 10th Floor, and Location 05, also at 450 West 31st Street, 7th Floor.
